ruroh Scoobie. Brady just threw to Burkhead short of the sticks.

My playoff life is on Rexy, Cooks and the Pats D. So far Rex is holding up his end.

Is Cooks playing? I suspended my DirecTV service.

Cooks is playing.
I don't think Brady has thrown to a WR yet...

Brady is having trouble getting the ball to Cooks deep. Other times Cooks is having trouble getting separation on short routes.

Well he tried but they got picked. He under threw Cooks by a yard on one allowing the DB to catch up and cut in front of him for the INT. I think Brady's thrown 3 picks.

Better fire the OC and bench the QB...and cut Burkhead. Somebody has to pay for that colossal error.Winking
Brady has 5 super bowl wins :rolleyes:
He's going to get a little more slack than a coach who never won a division or league championship by age 63 and had more losing seasons than winning ones in last 10 years

This passive aggressive stuff- to defend a very mediocre or worse coach- who given more time would have yielded an even deeper hole we may have never been able to climb out of has got to stop. MR and his offense was NOTORIOUS for CONSISTENTLY throwing 7 yard passes when we needed 8 yards on 3rd or 4th down. It was almost predictable.

MR is long gone and will go down in NU history as a nice fella (shouldn't everyone act well and be nice?) who put NU football on the edge of the abyss- only to be rescued by a young coach who "gets it". Learn from it, put him in our rear view mirror and move on.

Not defending Riley at all. I'm just pointing out that in fact good offenses, good OCs, good QBs, good WRs all call plays, run routes, throw balls to guys short of the sticks in hope that the receiver can make a guy miss and pick up the first down or TD after the catch. Just remember that when Frost and his players do it. I hate it when we don't make the line to gain when it happens but that doesn't mean the OC, the WR, or the QB are idiots. When the WR has the 1st down and loses it back tracking trying to make the big play, THEN we can bitch. You're the one bringing up Riley. Riley didn't even call plays for us so I'm not sure why you bring him up. Winking

If NE gets to and wins the SB, they can thank Rex for it! ;)
Rex had a good game, but it was pretty obvious that a little more straight line speed would help his game when he catches the ball. Very valuable guy for the Pats. New England's sub O linemen and defenders really took a beating last night. Brady will get killed if this keeps up.

I lost by 2 GD points. Rex had 16.3 at half. He finished with.......16.3.

Cooks or Rex catch one more ball I probably win. Or the Pats D doesn't suddenly make Miami look like the best team in the AFC.

So now you learned don't count on Pats to score for you when they play at Miami. Well known fantasy black hole.
