I was pretty sure that Ross would be a liability coming into the season. He played pretty well the first couple games but even then I wasn't completely sold. I am 100% bought in now after the game he played against Oregon.
He certainly wasn't perfect but to this point in the season he has outplayed Freedom. Against Oregon multiple times he played great team defense and stayed in his gap and kept outside contain so his stats may not look great but he was a difference maker for us.
He has maxed out his potential in his career at Nebraska through hard work and determination and it is awesome to see that no matter if the kid is from our own state or not. Most kids these days don't reach full potential.
