Interesting. I spent the weekend with a guy my age and we were talking about old shows we use to watch and this was one of them. All the "cool" guys had to wear a stocking cap like him. I need to go back and watch some episodes just to see if it is like I remember or just let the memory stay the way it is.

I think it was a Navy watch cap. Us civies called em stocking caps.
My hair never looked like Bronson's when I took my cap off, looked like Moe from the 3 Stooges.

I still have my Navy cap. I gave away my boondockers, but kept that wool hat for cold nights.

In Kill Bill, he played the part of Ranger Earl McGraw and later a pimp named Esteban. Thats a mans man right there. A truly great character actor.
