Fun fact: Alex Haley acknowledged that Roots was fictional and largely not biographical at all. No problem with that except the fictional aspect was not largely corrected when it cam out. It wasn't until recently I learned this.That’s crazy, I just started reading Roots. He played Fiddler in the Roots mini series, RIP Louis.
