The greatest college announcer of all time.
loved listening to him but when he did Husker games he seemed bias toward the other team, but either way he was the greatest off all time in the booth.
Is there any announcers where you DON'T think they are the boogeyman out to get Nebraska?loved listening to him but when he did Husker games he seemed bias toward the other team, but either way he was the greatest off all time in the booth.
One of my favorite Keith Jackson lines, was before the 95 CU game. Shortly after they ran Ralphie on to the field, he had a wry smile and quipped: "From one buffalo to another." He chuckled and it was gametime. RIP, to a true legend. The greatest college announcer of all time.

So did I. If you think Keith Jackson was biased against us, you think everybody is biased against us.Interesting - I thought he was just the opposite and had respect for the Husker program.
When we built the current press box (1999?), they named the restroom in the TV broadcast booth after him.
RIP.
