I understand those people saying that Riley shouldn't be fired. DONU's hiring history is petrifying. But with that said, Riley is who he is. He's not suddenly become something he wasn't. The best hope for Nebraska is that Lee blows up in 2018 and then Gebbia after that, and that those two can overcome the coaching and talent deficiencies that exist.
Otherwise, last night is going to get repeated. A lot. Until Riley is gone.
