Rhule won 40% more games this year vs last season. Can he increase another 40% and win 10 in 2025?

Offense will be better. Defense will be worse. Schedule is easier. We shall see.

What say you?

Rhule is consistent if anything in college:

Year 1: Bad
Year 2: 6-6 or 7-6
Year 3: Jump to 10-11 wins

Honestly, with what we lost to transfers, I think 9 wins is more likely. Rhule is a development guy, and I am not sure how the transfer portal and NIL will affect that with a new team practically every year.

The defensive scheme today was good enough to win against BC on this field on this day.

That scheme will get roasted in conference play. We won't match up against many offenses / coaching staffs that will turn it over on downs on 4 out of 9 drives.

But, you play to win the game, and that was accomplished today.

For a defensive coordinator debut, that was pretty awesome.

Their final point total was mostly indirectly or directly related to the disaster of special teams.

So far he has either beat or met his track record in each year at Nebraska. Doing it 3 times is enough for me to say I wouldn't doubt him going 9 - 11 wins next year.

Increased his bowl record just now as well.

GO BIG RED!!!

9 wins even with Foley if would have had Dana all year. Dana repeated today that IN FACT Rhule had offered the co-OC and play calling duties last winter.
Should have beat Iowa. Looking at the stat sheet, Vegas would have said we would have had a 99.5% chance of winning that game. Should have beat Illinois - wasted a couple of opportunities. And we had a real chance of beating OSU - if I recall Dylan missed a couple of open receivers in the end zone. So - though we made progress, I think Neb should have won at least 8- 9 this year. The Iowa game still blows my mind - that we lost.
