I can hear it now "Dylan Raiola throws out shoulder throwing snow ball. Will need 9-12 months of rehab."
That would be a third of his bonus for making a bowl game ($150,000).Sounds like he spent upwards of $50,000 this week on transportation, hotels, etc. bringing these guys to the game. Crazy.
That’s a great point. That would be a third of his bonus for making a bowl game ($150,000).
Are you suggesting that because he received a bonus for reaching a performance milestone that he earned and deserved as credit for his personal compensation per contract, he should not receive credit for using it in a charitable manner? Is that what you are saying? That would be a third of his bonus for making a bowl game ($150,000).
Before Delta left, there were fares that were sometimes cheaper out of Lincoln than Omaha. Now with only United there, it's probably mostly business travel and Husker related stuff. If any fares are close in price, there are locals who fly out of Lincoln just for the convenience of it and if they can get dropped off and avoid paying for parking, the price can get fairly close. From Lincoln yes but from Omaha no. Why would anyone fly from Lincoln.
I love the message that Phil Simpson has. He talks about mental health and how a player can benefit from being in Nebraska. As you said, he was born and raised in Miami. He knows the kids down there and he knows what type of kid will do well here. Simpson makes it about more than just football, money and fan adulation. That's really what Osborne, Solich and Ron Brown were also about when they recruited kids to Lincoln. I hope Simpson can continue to maintain close ties to Miami. We need to be getting talent and the right type of guys out of there."Born and raised in Miami. "Never was a Hurricanes fan". I like Phil Simpson more and more every day.
