I was doing some reconnaissance work on Oregon and found this article from yesterday where Yost (now QB coach at Oregon) says when he was at Mizzou that told the media he had a QB competition but now couldn't even recall who any of his other QB's were:
"When I was at Missouri we had a competition between Blaine Gabbert and I can't even remember the guys he was competing with. It wasn't much of a competition."
Classy. Seems pretty disrespectful for a coach who's passion is already questionable. Yost if you recall was the kindergarten teacher Pinkel hired early in his career, the long blond haired dude who quit on Missouri because he was tired/bored.
Anyways, still looks like Dakota Prukop (former Montana St. QB) will lead the Ducks against us. I know I'm looking past Fresno and Wyoming, but the Oregon game is so intriguing having a new QB and defense (Hoke) to get straight before visiting the ruckus in Memorial.
