Reilly not only prevent the int., he made an incredible play to make the catch over the DB's back. He and Westy stepped up big time.

What a difference a week makes. Last week dropped passea, this week, miracle grabs

Alonzo was doing pretty well too before he got hurt. Actually many guys did well and that goes for Tommy too. We had a lot of mistakes made but not enough to take us out of the game.

What I feel about TA is he is going to do what he do. Meaning, he's going to make some great throws and have some good scrambles, and he's going to make some bad throws and hold onto the ball too long sometimes. He throws the ball up for grabs too often, and the difference is going to be whether or not the receivers can make the play on the ball. I don't know if there is any amount of coaching that is going to change who he is. He's going to give me a coronary before he graduates.

He made some important plays that no one else was going to make for us which is good. He has his issues but our coaching staff needs to put him in to situations to be successful. It pissed me off when they had him down around the 5 throwing the football. Tommy is not a good short yardage passer and with the field being that short Michigan State had it easily covered. I wasn't willing to blame Tommy for that because he should have never been put in to that situation because you knew he would do something to burn us and that he did. That near pick on the last drive was something that pissed me off about his choice. There will be times where we have no choice but to throw the ball and Tommy has to make much better decisions than to just chuck it in to the end zone in hopes that one of our guys will come down with it.

I'd say we might see a higher amt of reps from Morgan, Hovey, Turner and Allen against Rutgers so the "Big 3" can get healed up in the bye week for Iowa.
