So evaluating where the program is right now it would boil down to this:
DE - Priority High, Need of 3 - Current commit of 1 with a medium/strong commitment level
WR - Priority High, Need of 4 - Current commits of 2 with strong commitment & 2 high prospects
OT - Priority High Need of 2 - 0 Commits with 2 high prospects with low/medium interest
DB - Priority High Need of 3 - 0 Commits with 3 high prospect with medium interest
RB - Priority Medium Need of 1 - 0 Commits with 1 high prospect with high interest, academic risk
LB - Priority Medium Need of 3 - 2 Commits with 2 high prospects with medium interest
TE - Priority Medium Need of 2 - 2 Commits with 1 commit with medium commitment level
Safety - Priority Medium Need of 1 - 0 Commits with 0 high prospects on the board
Does this sound about right with a month and a half to go? You can make your own assessment but from where we started this is a disappointment to me. Would seem pretty tough to finish the way they would like at this juncture. A poor finish could leave a pretty big dent in the Riley era. WR looks to be good, DL could be good yet and DB could be pretty good. Even with that, wouldn't this class fall short of what is needed to get the program back on track? Very concerning.
