Recruiting QB question

So... I'm getting the feeling (and probably rightfully so), that Riley is losing faith quickly in TA. Heck, he probably has a running clock in his head on the countdown time until POB gets here. My question is this, should Mike try to go out and get a JUCO QB as well, as O'Brien may take a season or 2 to develop. I would think it may be a good idea. If so, any names of Juco QB's that are worth going after? Who knows, maybe we find the next Zac Taylor out there somewhere.

If they do that, I hope they look at Zach Martin right now. He's up the road at Iowa Western.

Interesting. Took a look at his profile, and he's got medium interest in Nebraska, so he's certainly someone I hope the coaching staff has eyes on. Completing passes at a 65% clip doesn't hurt either.

I've always wondered why we don't use that school as a pipeline to NU. Other schools have for a while. Jake Waters at K-State (former QB), and that receiver at Illinois, Geronimo Allison, are both Iowa Western guys. They have a good program there. Would love to see us take advantage of having them right up the road.

We better have someone else on the roster at QB to select from cause

Armstrong isn't the answer , and obviously the coaches have the pro football mentality, never pull the starter ...ever

Whoever the QB is will have talent at wideout. We need to be able to get them the ball with better completion %. Does TA have the fight in him to hold off POB? We will wait and see, but if I was a betting man my chips would be in Patrick's corner just because of the fit. I may be wrong.
