Ok, I'll stop with the OT's.

Name 1 reason why the Huskers will be better on Defense next year.

I like Butlers Scheme better than Whites .
Not having Ty and Nash up front
A full spring under Dana and more familiarity. Upgraded at WR.
Lack of a main horse at RB.
The fact that Rhule said a complete overhaul at ST is needed. Sounds like he is making it a priority.

Can't disagree with much here. That Ty/Nash thing has me worried. Agree especially on the RB spot. Who was the last game breaking RB that we have had? Ameer?

On ST I didn’t throw Foley under the bus . Don’t get me wrong some changes had to he made.. But until we make it a priority not sure it’s not going to matter who coaches it .

I just feel like we don't have any game breakers that can make something happen. PR/KR just not explosive. Average punter/kicker. I do think people are expecting a miracle, and in my experience from years of coaching, every part of the game looks better when you have dudes! We don't have dudes or simply don't want to use them in these spots.

Better on defense: More athletic in the back seven and deeper at DB.

Worse on defense: Could get pushed around up front. Lost Ty and Nash, replaced with smaller players.

Better on offense: Year two for DR, better skill people, DH running the show.

Worse on off sense: N/A. Can’t think of anything.

ST: We have a long snapper and there is really only one way to go for this unit.

the OL

unproven skill guys

zero RB depth, no apparent thumper

where do the explosive plays come from after finishing 2024 as the least explosive offense in the B1G?

I believe the OL and the skill positions will be better than last year. Key, Hunter and Johnson are all pretty proven skill guys. With another year of development for our QB and a whole offseason for Dana, I just don’t see how the offense won’t be better than last year, which was the OP’s question. Weather or not they will be Top 20. Or 30 or whatever is another question.

Forget top 30/20, top 100 would be an improvement.

Key should be better than what we had last year. fingers crossed on Hunter. Barney is a nice piece but we will need 12 healthy games from him again.

DR should be better. Dana is unquestionably better than the chinless disgrace Rhule continues to force up our ass.

EJ is fine if you like singles/doubles. Can he handle a full workload for 12 games? Who spells him?

OL - just plain and simple not a lot of talent there.

I agree we should be better, but we need to be exponentially better, not just marginally better.

And for f*ck’s sake we have to find a way to score TDs in the redzone

Better in Defense: Young LB talent is really talented McGahee and Shavers come to mind.

Worse on Defense: Our DL line size is gone and so is Tony White

Better on Offense: Dana will have more time to insert his offense in Raiola's second year

Worse on Offense: Our Offensive line is going to basically be unknown and totally different

Better on Special Teams: duh should be unnanimous Foley is gone

Better D: I think we're upgrading at LB and DBs

Worse D: D line

Better O: upgraded WR

Worse O: still lack bellcow RB, OL questions

Better ST: when at bottom you know the rest
