Randy had an ability to not only get around the edge, but to get the player down; we have some pretty good athletes on the D line, but they are relatively slow; Randy had athletic ability, some power, and speed; could run QB's down
we really missed this several times when we were chasing the QB around and could not bring him to ground; it may not be ALL about the athletes, but it is a LOT about the athletes; BYU had some athletes that reminded me of Randy, disruptive, lanky guy, number 90?
