The RB rotation has been and continues to be awful yesterday, blatantly cost us the MN game as well putting Grant in the game when all we needed was to not fumble. Barthel needs to get his head out of his Ass. Emmett Johnson also needs to get 70% of the carries at this point, he’s the ONLY decisive and explosive RB I have seen all year.
Barthel has been putting the wrong guys in at the wrong time, not keeping guys in when they’re getting hot, and the guy he had as the 5th best RB coming into the year has looked the most explosive and decisive than any that have played all year.
Recruiting wise who is he bringing in now that he’s lost Lacy? Some 3 star that nobody has heard of? This is Nebraska in a P2 conference with a HC that wants to be a power running team. If he didn’t have a line out to a solid plan B after Lacy that’s on him. Getting a Blue chip recruit at RB should be expected every year.
