Well I learned something new today.

I was getting my sports confused. A baseball player can earn a pension after playing only 43 games at the major league level in 2011. However, MLB players can earn 100,000 a year if they play 10 years in the big leagues. Below is an interesting article from 2011 looking at the pensions for various sports.
