My battle with stage 4 throat cancer has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. Great days and dark painful days. Always thought of myself as a tough old bastard, but I have never been through anything like this. I am blessed to have a great support group around me.
I have loved Nebraska football all my life. The roller coaster that it is causes unbelievable joy and painful heartbeat. It also gives us one of the strongest, craziest brotherhoods that exists. You are never far from a fellow husker no matter where you are. Our passion is not just for the team but also for each other. That to me is what makes being a HUSKER so special.
After today I'm down to 25 radiation and 2 chemo therapy sessions left. I got this but have learned the true meaning of CANCER SUCKS!!!!!!! Thanks to RSS for keeping me entertained and most importantly GBR!!!!
