Much fun tonight with my wife at the Calabasas game. Nothing earth-shattering to pass along but a few tidbits. Spoke with Keyshawn Sr after the game -- kind of cool as he saw me and Jeanette and waved me over to him to chat. USC friend of his took picture for us (posted it on Twitter). I told him about the appreciation from RSS about his comments. He smiled and talked about how fans need to just chill, be patient and know good things are coming. He is a really chill, loose guy himself, which may be why we seem to get along pretty well.

Be sure and give a big welcome/greeting to Tristen Gebbia tomorrow. He is coming with his girlfriend and her parents. Met them all tonight and had a nice visit. He (the dad) actually saw me in my Nebraska sweater and said something -- "Go Huskers" or something like that. I didn't know who he was. Then he asked me if I was going to the Husker game tomorrow. Told him I wish but not in the cards. Then he told me he was going with his wife and their daughter (sitting with them). I asked who he would be rooting for -- for all I knew he might have been a Duck fan. That's when he introduced himself and said they were good friends with the Gebbias. Then introduce his wife and then his daughter and mentioned she was Tristen's girlfriend. More genuinely good people.

After the game had a few folks meet Jeanette. Tristen again thanked us for coming and told us he was going to the game and to "work on getting some more commits."

Will fill you in more next week. Kim Gebbia (Tristen's mom) was very sweet and invited Jeanette (and me when I'm not taking videos and pictures) to sit with them next week at the game. I'm assuming we'll get a full report from Lincoln from the girlfriend's family so I'll keep you posted.
