I have to say I am very excited that for the first time in 8 years we as husker fans are not hanging our hopes on our starting quarterback going to work with a "QB guru/specialist" in the offseason. It was sad that every summer our starting QB would meet with a guy and try to learn how to throw a football.
And then like clockwork every fall the practice reports would come out and they would say how great Taylor/Tommy were throwing.
It's been a long time since we had an actual quarterback and not a glorified safety/rb playing the position.
