Tom Osborne gives up skybox in North Stadium http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/article_350f758d-7365-5f6b-b6a2-bc173ec892ec.html
That seems like way more than reading between the lines. I think you're reading an entirely different book. He says in the article he still plans to attend games and supports everyone. I think it's the right thing to do also because let's say he passes away - and the University has an awkward situation on their hands when they ask to take it from the Osborne family. This makes a clean transition and Osborne gets out of the way properly. Why is it pure class? Sounds like he doesn't want to attend the games. If I were AD, TO would have skybox seats for life. Is he really thinking of the program here? I'm not dogging him. Just reading between the lines.

Still classy even if he will be going to less games. Could have went all nepotistic with it, but decided not and allow the University to make money off it.
Is there a problem in any of it? Or just conversation?I don't have a problem with that.

Did Sam not read the article and take note of the multiple times Osborne has thrown his support to Mike. Tom is too nice. I would have told Sam, "Read the article and then decide if that question needs to be asked."
Now, if TO called me up and said I could use his suite indefinitely than yes, pure class.![]()
Unfortunately there's more and more people starting to think that way. Can we keep the streak going even with corporate help?He probably would rather not fight the crowds and sit home and do shots and drink beer while watching it on TV.
Oh wait, that's me.![]()

Are the fans getting wider in the North Section? That is one of the reasons why Nebraska is widening the seats in the north stadium to make it more comfortable for fans. Wider seats also will help with continuing the sellout streak.![]()
Are the fans getting wider in the North Section?![]()
Yeah, everybody except me.Are the fans getting wider in the North Section?![]()
Probably not. Where are your tix in the stadium?Unfortunately there's more and more people starting to think that way. Can we keep the streak going even with corporate help?
Yes. But first he is gonna get some at StanfordIs he going to get a suite for UCF football?
Yes. But first he is gonna get some at Stanford
Actually sec.16 in SEZ. Seems like it's a tighter squeeze than it was 30 years ago.Probably not. Where are your tix in the stadium?
Fixed it for you. BTW...why isn't this pic in the Bookie thread?![]()
Oh my gosh Bookie has a Florida hat on!
There's some good stuff in this thread.Don't you and your wifeband or huswife have some emails to send Coach Osborne? Maybe share a chuckle.
Makes me wonder how many more comp boxes are out there. TO doesn't need a skybox for his lonesome and very few connected to UNL need a personal skybox.Tom Osborne gives up skybox in North Stadium http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/article_350f758d-7365-5f6b-b6a2-bc173ec892ec.html

I gave up the company Astros tickets because they were rarely used and it took too much effort to give them away on a regular basis.
I know, I know, class personified.
Hey, I'm thinking about giving the guy a call, invite him to a tailgate, throw back some Old Mil lights and a couple dozen wings. We're both about the same age. What can it hurt.He probably would rather not fight the crowds and sit home and do shots and drink beer while watching it on TV.

NU continues to charge a "donation" for season tickets. Either they arent worried or are idiots. Id go with the latter.Unfortunately there's more and more people starting to think that way. Can we keep the streak going even with corporate help?
