Or how not to slide, there was no reason for it.
I’d be surprised if he does. Especially if we don’t go real heavy on Portal Olinemen and totally revamp the Oline.
Feel bad for Purdy, but there is a bit of irony in the slide being intended to protect the QB only to poorly execute it and end up injured.

He’s used his freebie transfer and I think he would have had to enter the portal already to get the hardship transfer for his head coach getting fired. I think they have to leave within 30 days. IF he stays he has a pretty good shot at being a starter soon.
Seems like QBs are more susceptible to getting lit up when they slide. Only benefit I see is drawing a personal foul or targeting penalty if you puss out and slide.
For real. I'd just dive forward dropping as fast as I could to my stomach.

Damn. I don't think he was our answer, but you never wanna see season ending surgery for someone. It was an ugly looking slide.
