Key is officially N!

Yep, that's what I expect. Hoping the defense holds up too. No reason we couldn't be a playoff team next year.
We won’t be a playoff team next year. We will be very average on both the offensive and defensive lines. Not a single standout all B1G type player on either one. Until Nebraska gets that fact into its stubborn head we will not return to elite status. Good teams begin with great players in the trenches.

May be right but won't know that until they play.

Pre season honors mean nothing

I figured he would go to NU since his coach did, he only has 1 year left and raiola...
then the recruiting experts dropped us down for 2 sec teams

Hunter and Key are massive upgrades. Barney and Lloyd in the slot. And move Nelson to TE and that’s an on paper dream…

Develop a running scheme. Get under center some in single back

Raiola should take a massive leap. They need to learn how to manage a game and win as well

Have we not had some defensive additions? I would like to them had a big bully of DT. But I do think that is a difficult portal addition. Highly competitive at that position
I'll second that. I'm hoping for a 320 lb. run stuffer. People underestimate how many blockers Ty and Nash tied up in the trenches without getting moved out of the hole.

Kentucky fan here (Nebraska is my second team). Been watching Dane Key since he was in high school. Big get for the Huskers. The only issue with him over the past three years has been consistency, but when he's on he's definitely pro potential. It's tough to judge WRs much in Mark Stoops' system, but Dane Key and Barion Brown both should have produced more for us than they have the past couple of years. Not to say it's their fault as CMS keeps his offense on a tight leash. In the right system though and with a good QB and supporting cast, Key will shine. I hope he kills it at Nebraska.
