Proud of the effort

My concerns have more to do with individual players on defense who teams target and Satterfield's play selection at times. It's impossible for me to know if some of those bubble screens are checkdowns from Raiola based on what he sees from the defense but man I'm done with that. OSU found all 3 of our weakest players for chunk plays and 2 TDs.
My concern is plays with route trees. College football doesn't give you enough time to practice these concepts. The only person that should be reading the defense is the QB. If you have a play that doesn't work against the defense called, take the loss (no gain). This trying to construct plays that always win is a recipe for destruction. Call plays where your skill players easily know what they should be doing and can execute it 100%. Let the athletes/winners win games for you.

Uh, we dropped the opening kick, and threw an INT on 3rd & 19 during the last drive. Not to mention DR missing 2 wide open WRs for TDs.

Our line play was great, that's a positive for sure.

OSU skill players played like shit.
Not Jeremiah Smith. He alone kicked our butt.

Nebraska is really a few better players on both sides of the ball from being a real good team. That and some better coaching would be nice. They had a legit shot to win today and against Illinois, not saying they should have, but they had their chances.

I can't explain the Indiana game other than Indy is just better and Nebraska sucked eggs against them, this team is capable of winning 3 more games, can they do it? I'm not sure. Either a game like today helps pick themselves up off the ground or they gain nothing from it and fold like a cheap card table. We shall see.

I read up on Cignetti, and he apparently is a very hard working football genius who can motivate and instill confidence in his players and coaches so they know exactly what to do because of solid preparation and good communication. He can accurately diagnose opponents players & strategies, and put the exact responses & positioning into his players, and then they play confident and fast. I don't see him staying at Indiana long. He has a long history with Saban and picked his mind. His success seems to be no fluke. And this is exactly what shows the difference in coaching. Not many around like this.

He and his staff certainly blew Nebraska's coaches out of the water. He's 63, so I wonder how many more years he'll stay around? Probably at least 5 more years if he's feeling it.

If Natalie Portman and Carrie Fisher don’t turn you on, you probably had a gender change and color your hair purple.
Wow Fisher is dead, you’re clearly a deeply sick dude. Go to the Hawkeye board, that’s more your speed.

I’m the sick dude? You’re the freak concerned with another guy’s beat-off material. Have a nice evening… but no details please.

I think you’re referring to defensive line play was great are all offensive line is still probably the number one problem just can’t give any holes for the running backs and obviously the screen please don’t work either. I think we had 12 negative Pl. where we didn’t get back to the line of scrimmage and that it doesn’t include sex.

Well, they should’ve gotten their asses kicked after last weeks performance. But they went toe to toe with the fourth ranked team in the country and had a chance to win in the last few minutes. It’s not a participation trophy to be proud of the effort.

so you expect them to sucks ass and when they don’t you celebrate? You discount a loss because they got their doors blown off the week before? Golly geez, we didn’t look too darn bad today, I mean we lost, but at least we didn’t get embarrassed. You must have been a huge Frost fan. “Had a chance to win” sure does happen a lot, although very rarely is the chance ever seized. Just more of the same, but with fans like you, who needs wins?
