Prima Deion's dirty kid

Sad...just sad, this thread. Almost makes me embarrassed to be a Husker...

Is this in reference to his quote about not wearing hat and sunglasses? If so, I seriously doubt that was a shot at his mom. Deion may have taken it that way, but Norvell was trying to get inside Deion’s head. And it almost worked.
Nope but when you start it with " I was raised" that is how people will take it. Especially the person the quote is directed too.

I can see that I guess, if you’re looking for something to hang your hat on. Had he said that about me, I probably would have chuckled, understanding that it really isn’t a shot at me but more designed to get under my skin.

Maybe it’s bush league, but i bet Norvell doesn’t say that if it’s anyone other than Deion. He is kind of a magnet for this kind of stuff.

What does that mean? Did CP do that to someone?

And if he did how long ago was that 30 years? So it’s been 30 years since a Nebraska player has done something that terrible on the football field?
Terrell Farley touched them and jogged on their end zone.

Fans contracting CTE it seems...

Eye pokes were the least of CP's offenses. Go research the famed K-State Matt (The Turminator) Turman's game. Turman started because Tommie was injured and Brook had a collapsed lung. The game plan was essentially run Lawrence Phillips until his legs fell off. It worked very well. Other highlights of that game included Barren Miles defending seven or eight passes that day. Chad May was all cocky before the game and was dropping dimes all over the field that were being swatted away most of the time by Miles. That game also included a giant meeting on top of May where he came up squinting very badly. The consensus was CP was giving him the business at the bottom of the pile in addition to jamming his finger into his eye hole. Am I the only one that remembers that game so vividly?

Wow, that is some kind of reach.

Yes we all remember CP was a crazy man and I do remember the KSU game, but not the Chad May thing. So you are OK with the QB from Colorado eye gouging someone, because you speculate CP may have also did it someone almost 30 years ago? That’s just odd.

That sort of thing is just wrong, even if someone else may have done it decades ago. I can also show you all kinds of hits like the one that hurt Hunter from all over football, much more recently. Does that mean CU fans should now like it? Come on.

Talk about a reach. Nowhere was I condoning it for either. I'm old enough to remember everyone on here basically giggling about when CP maimed Chad May in the middle of a game. Deon's kid is proving to be a little punk in many ways. I know how he would have been handled in the past, but those days are gone. My reference to CP was to point out the attention span on this board. BTW, CP is loved by Husker fans and is infamous for NUMEROUS run ins with the law. I have heard firsthand accounts of some of the messed up stuff he has done off the field. Him quitting drinking probably saved his and other peoples lives.

I don't get what I am supposed to be seeing here. May got grazed on the way down, but that can't be it. Maybe something happened in the pile?

But there wasn't any real speculation or accusations, and the only aftermath was May running to the sideline and getting an eye drop, and then Peter sacking him on the next play. I don't doubt that Peter was a dirty SOB and did some terrible stuff, but that still doesn't change anything about the Sanders kid going full Three Stooges on a DL Saturday.

Take Care

Football fans can be a weird bunch but I'm just not 100% convinced of this story. If it's true I won't be shocked and if it's manufactured I equally won't be shocked. I've seen this movie a few times and many of the endings are the same. If it is true then maximum punishment please and I apologize for not buying it completely to start with.

People make death threats all the time. I doubt anyone does anything anyway. I think he should double down and call Hunter a b*tch. And why would CU put a player back in that needed to go to the hospital?

The nation has fallen in love with the Colorado hype and the Sanders / Hunter combo. It's crazy that because Hunter was hurt on the play social media blows up. Death threats start being thrown around, calls for suspensions among other things. If everything happens the same and Hunter gets up and plays the rest of the game, all of that goes away and there's probably some talk of a dirty play. The dude hit him late, IN THE CHEST, on an over thrown ball. That happens all the damn time and the flag should rightly be thrown. Add in the fact that the other defender was partially blocking the view and its certainly possible that the safety never knew he didn't have the ball and was just focused on getting a big hit.

Love the mention of the Adrian Martinez twisted knee incident... I guess I missed ESPN's coverage on that a few years ago.

What a crazy world we live in.

1. That was sort of a late hit but not really.
2. The flag SHOULD have been thrown on Hunter for taking his helmet off
3. The CU coach should have been ejected for coming out on the field and going after the CSU player.
