The publication, under new management, has a national top 150 list out today. It’s based on current skill and standing, not projected ceiling potential like Senior Aces. But like 2021, Nebraska, with two commitments, is very strong. The number one player is Hayden Kubik, a 6-1, OH from Des Moines. The younger sister to sophomore Madi at Nebraska. The top rated MB at number 6 overall is Nebraska bound Bekka Allick, a 6-3 player from Lincoln. This is a bit surprising from an earlier type of ranking in April-May I believe.

Other noteworthy conference and commitment news for these Junior to be girls in the fall. Minnesota has the number three girl from Wisconsin, McKenna Wurcherer, a 6-1, OH. Minnesota has verbals from number 15 player, Carter Booth, a 6-7 MB from Colorado via Minnesota as of two years ago. Plus number 21 Julia Hanson, a native OH at 6-0. Wisconsin has at number 11, Ella Wrobel, a 6-4 OH from Illinois.

Creighton has commitments from number 47 player, Ava Martin, a 6-0 OH from Kansas and number 52 player, Skylar McCune, a 5-8 libero from Gretna. Noteworthy is Baylor has commitments from the number 4 and 5 players, Texas natives Averi Carlson and Alexis Dacosta. The first is a 5-11 setter and the second is a 5-10 OH. Nebraska HS Girls listed include non-committed number 37, Mya Larson, a 5-11 OH from Wahoo and girls at 74 and 79. Abby Schomers, a 6-0 S from Omaha Skutt and Ellie Baumert, a 6-1 S from Malcolm committed to Texas Tech.
