I bet he gets carded a lot.
He's a youngster. But he's making 285k a year at 24. Well done sonny boy!!the pic makes me want to take him fishing
of he's as smart and hard working as coach says then i'm all NHe's a youngster. But he's making 285k a year at 24. Well done sonny boy!!![]()
Rhule has said he's very intelligent and will be a head coach one day. A coaches son has a head start on others.of he's as smart and hard working as coach says then i'm all N
There is only oneBut will he ever be a Sexy Boy…just a Boy Toy. That’s the real question.
Jason M not listed. Must be starting him on the O line.
Have to include Coleman probably the best receiver walking into the locker room..Top 6 WR are relatively easy:
Washington
Kemp
Fleeks
Betts
IGC
Brown
Although Brown doesn't have a lot of production for how much he's played. Not sure if that's him or the qbs.
4 of 6 wouldn't be on the team if Frost was still coach.
Which one is he?I bet he gets carded a lot.![]()
The one drinking the Shirley Temple because the restaurant didn't believe he was 21.Which one is he?
He can be a difference maker as a true freshman.Have to include Coleman probably the best receiver walking into the locker room..
Given how this staff wants to play physical, I wouldn’t be surprised if Janiran Bonner carves out a role in the Top group.Top 6 WR are relatively easy:

Dline is a bit tricky, as all of the Edge guys won't be used in the same way. But the top run-stopping combo would be Ty and Wynn at DE and Nash at NG. Are Jeudy and Buckley ready to be in a rotation? I could see Sherman and Gunnerson being used closer to the line and a guy like Borders being more a of OLB type.Top 6 WR are relatively easy:

I have to see it before I believe the hype anymore. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him in that group at the end of spring. I think Betts is legit. He's so smooth. Has the NFL size. Has Big 10 experience. I've seen nothing to think he doesn't have good hands. Hopefully he's mentally ready.Have to include Coleman probably the best receiver walking into the locker room..
Frost and the last 2 dline coaches left us in terrible shape at DL. I think Robinson has more than he has shown but wow. Five guys were used in the interior last season, with Drew and Nash used less than Ty, Feist and Wynn. I assume there will be a mix of 2-3 big guys used per snap. Could even see one used with Sherman and Gunnerson on passing downs. The 3-3-5 is supposed to have flexibility to what’s available on tbe roster. That will be tested by NU in the first year.Frost and the last 2 dline coaches left us in terrible shape at DL. I think Robinson has more than he has shown but wow. 1900 likes. I don't do Twitter or I would pop him one. One of my favorite guys when he played for NU.

Looks like they had steak rare, au gratin potatoes, mac and cheese, and broccoli in a cream sauce. The other thing on the plate I don't recognize could be a brussel sprout.I bet he gets carded a lot.![]()
Cody should have started out @ LB and only played LB @ NU. They guy would have been a super star. I remember when he was recruited, people would say he’d easily have been a 5 star if he was going in as a LB. Heck if he’d have been a LB day 1, he’s probably playing on the 2009 team... would have been a sick LB trio and made that D even better.
And that doesn't even include the money he gets for mowing lawns. He's a youngster. But he's making 285k a year at 24. Well done sonny boy!!![]()
I liked him as a RB as well. He ran hard then helped the team by switching to LB. Just a really tough player.Cody should have started out @ LB and only played LB @ NU. I looked at 2021 and 2022 Owen Carter HUDL films. His quarterback is very good, he can drop the ball on a dime. The QB is 6'5" and 2024 recruit. Looks like a solid Longwhorns commit and doesn't run the ball much at all, so not what Rhule is looking for.
5.14 40? Yikes I hope he's faster then that on the field! Seemed like it in his film...Last spring, Van Poppel’s stock exploded after standout performances at several camps. At 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, Van Poppel ran a laser-timed 5.14-second 40-yard dash, 4.58-second shuttle and 7.64-second 3-cone prior to his senior season.

That’s pretty good for a kid that size the summer before his senior year. I suspect his 5 yard time is more important than his 40.5.14 40? Yikes I hope he's faster then that on the field! Seemed like it in his film...
