Post spring Top 25

Who cares. Another half a quarter and Rhule would have lost that bowl game. Yeah, happy they finally made it to arguably the worst bowl game of College Football 2024. Whoopie whoo.

At the time, we all thought Adrian Martinez was that QB under SF. Hell, go compare their freshman stats. You could argue AM had a much better year without 2 extra starts. Remember how that played out? So, you never know.

We are still a few key injuries away from being 6-6 or 5-7 again. Yeah, sure, I'd love to drink that offseason kool-aid, but that's just foolish.

Obviously, I come off as being negative, but until I see some real results, I'm not falling for this offseason BS... again.
I am right there with you... prove it or STFU

While i don't agree with his #1, I think that's a pretty solid ranking. Move Penn State down a few spots and bump everyone else up to fill the void and it looks solid to me....
Nebraska has every bit of reasons why they should be somewhere from 22-25 with the 4 teams Klatt has in it.

At that point on the list, who gives a fvck...and one of those teams literally owns us, and OU would have killed us if we played...Auburn and Baylor? I saw nothing to suggest those would be automatic wins in Rhule's tenure....

I'm a certified Rhule hater, but I don't think any of those teams would have a better schedule than Nebraska did with our schedule, which really wasn't even that bad.

OU was soft and slow, Baylor is dead, Auburn is doing Auburn things

...arguing over #22 and beyond seems silly to me. Rhule to date has lost to almost every team he's played that has a pulse. We have given zero reasons for anyone to take us serious to date. I do believe this will be a really good season though, I honestly think we have a shot at the playoffs....but to date? I understand not making anyones top 25.

i agree, which begs the question why you did:

we don't deserve to be ranked until we start taking care of business. that said, it's perfectly fair to opine that a middle of the road B1G team is better than the basement dwellers of the SEC and whatever mess Aranda has made of Baylor.

Where is Indiana? Is the thinking that last year was a one hit wonder? If I were a Hoosier fan I would be pissed to see Nebraska ranked after they annihilated us last year.
I think coaches started to figure out Indiana as the season went on.

They won't surprise anybody this year.

Indiana is a team, like iowa, that will just RUN to look at their schedule. If it is one of those years where they play no one and skip the OSU, Michigan, PSU, Oregon types, they will have a chance to get to a bowl game.
