negatives.
Positives.....Westy looked better, still not 100% but nice to see him getting involved.
Screen game was better and liked play action on first downs when 8 were in the box.
Defending the run without Stolts......nice.
DPE got his hands on he ball, nice to see we will need him next week.
Pass defense was much better in the 2nd half.
Negatives......still way too many unsportsmanlike penalties and just plain dumb penalties that cost us 2 TD's.
Too many OL's standing around and not finishing locks or picking up secondary rushers.
TA, he did have a nice passing game but he can't make those mistakes inthe red zone, throw the ball away or just run with it.
Our blitz packages aren't working that well, we just don't seem to have that athletic, heat seeking LB that can cause some damage.
Kickoff returners peddling backwards as they receive the ball.....and then running it out, that's a head scratcher to me.
Yes, we scored 52 and it looks good but it was 24-17 and Wyoming had the ball to start the 4th Q, two back to back TO's wer obviously the separation we needed.
Let's be honest with ourselves, if we play anything like this next week we will get beat, practice is going to be interesting, here's to our team digging deep and getting these mistakes fixed and completely understood, we cannot play equal or better teams and have consistent success if we make these dumb decisions.
