ughhh... i hate seeing those types of statementsNo way we lose that game this year (Iowa)
So, he was Iowa's best WR?The Iowa WR has one catch on the season. The Alabama DL has one tackle on the season.
I was wondering if this redshirt and transfer game was going to catch on in the B1G or SEC. It has, but so far only with people getting very little playing time.
I saw UCF had 6 players do this. 2 starters plus 4 backups.
You may want to avoid the prediction thread when it rolls around.ughhh... i hate seeing those types of statements
It happens every year and we know how it plays out.ughhh... i hate seeing those types of statements
Recruits have to know they come to block for the RB and TE.iowa ruined the kid. Seen it too many times, iowa is were offensive talent goes to die…

He was very highly touted coming in for them. He lost a ton of weight before he arrived on their campus and has shown some flashes. Would be a nice get.Oatis actually looks like a good potential replacement for Nash next year. 6'5 325lbs and started 13 games his first two seasons at Bama.
I would give all Bama transfer's consideration.Oatis actually looks like a good potential replacement for Nash next year. 6'5 325lbs and started 13 games his first two seasons at Bama.
They have some TEs in the league: Kittle, Hochenstein, Fant.If you’re a talented WR or QB, you know you’re gonna have bottom half of the NCAA stats across the board in that offense. You’re not even remotely going to get the support and/or opportunity to show pro scouts anything. Serious programs groom NFL QBs and WRs or at least try. Kurt grooms future insurance salesmen and rental car agents…
Had 821 yards and 4.8 ypc last year. This year, 21 yards on 11 carries.

This was happening the second his position coach called him out last year for not handling his business by getting to class and meetings on time.
Clear the dead weight.
This is good and necessary. You set a high standard and you challenge guys to meet it or exceed it. Sometimes those guys aren’t making much noise and sometimes they are good players like Micah. Either way, as coaches you have to have integrity and back up what you preach. When the players can trust each other and their coaches, you form a cohesive unit and go to war together. It’s all part of the process of creating a winning foundation. As good as Nebraska was for as long as it was, it’s hard to believe we ever lost it.Clear the dead weight.
Gotta be done
I noticed that. But why would poor stats and little opportunity to impress pro scouts impact QB and WR but not TE?I was specifically talking about QBs and WRs. That’s why I specifically said QBs and WRs.
I’m still pissed that my Vikes traded for Hockenson. Yeah he catches some balls but seems like every game he had an inexplicable costly drop. Would rather the Vikes had ZERO Hawkeyes on the team. They have some TEs in the league: Kittle, Hochenstein, Fant.
TEs block. Fant’s speed made him a unicorn. Kittle developed more in the NFL than many thought he would.I noticed that. But why would poor stats and little opportunity to impress pro scouts impact QB and WR but not TE?
As a Lions fan, I could not have been more excited to dump Hock. He is a decent TE that drops balls and was going to demand a huge contract. It was a great trade for the Lions.I’m still pissed that my Vikes traded for Hockenson. Yeah he catches some balls but seems like every game he had an inexplicable costly drop. It seems like 80% of I_wa's offense (if you can call it that) is a stretch run or a play action off of that with a bootleg to the tight end.I noticed that. But why would poor stats and little opportunity to impress pro scouts impact QB and WR but not TE?

Bro they can’t even beat Vanderbilt why would you consider anyone thereI would give all Bama transfer's consideration.

I understand the sentiment but in Leshon’s case, what does he do? It’s his last yea rod eligibility and I don’t think anyone blames him for not wanting to waste it getting 3rd or 4th string reps. Does he stick around and tell Kirk he isn’t playing? What’s a head coaches response to that? Mine would be to mutually separate. No reason for him to be around the program if he is gonna refuse to play past 4 games. With few exceptions, I’m not a fan of the midseason quitters.
Wait for the offseason, or accept your spot at the program you chose for the season.
Be a real teammate. It matters.
The redshirt and transfer thing will continue to spread and Nebraska is not immune to it. Recruiting high character kids will help in that regard, but the crappy players who somehow had a lot of stars next to their name in H.S. will bounce around to different schools Luke McCaffrey style. The Iowa WR has one catch on the season. The Alabama DL has one tackle on the season.
