you have to be utterly stupid to not see that is what happened.. the AD is not going to just sit there and say nothing while all of husker nation was freaking out..
I shouldn't be amazed, but I am at the stupidity of the people on this board..
the same clowns that said "No way is Eichorst trying to run the program from the stands", yet it was plain as day for most people with a brain.. there have been countless things like this over the years and it's funny, because at the time, there are a chorus of you trying to defend the program, but then when it's all past and out in the open, you only then jump on that bandwagon.. it's as if you don't have any mind of your own, and all you can do is go a long with the herd..

If one of the new transfers does not pan out during spring ball…who is to say that they won’t be transitioned out. Each spot on the 105 is extremely important.
Players want freedom to move around and shop their talents then they better be ready to impress this spring including the players already on the roster.
I think with the change to 105 we will actually see the spring portal FAR more active than in years past. Guys who are 4th string or lower should leave if they want to play football or else face being cut in the Fall.
That’s actually a great thing, players need to bust their ass in the spring now to contend for a roster spot.

Well, I have to say that I was really happy. I admit I jump on board almost all Husker related coaches, players & propaganda. One day I was having a conversation with a name almost all Cornhusker fans would recognize & I was touting the good luck & wisdom of hiring Frank Solich. I heard silence, and another proclamation from me was met in silence. I figured it out later why the silence. Dang, I said!😅😅😅
The date I’ve heard is still fall camp. There will be more attrition after spring ball.
They way I look at the 105 is.
7 specialist (2 deep at K, P, Snapper, plus one more)
88 on the 4 Deep at all starting positions.
10 more (5 offense and 5 defense)
That would mean we could carry 20-22 DB’s, if you count the Rovers as DB’s. So we would need to cut 7-9 DB’s.

He was surprised mid-season that the job he and his staff was doing was deemed unacceptable by the fans and his AD. But there are some signs that he got the message.
Or he was surprised that the team didn’t do better… I highly doubt he was surprised that fans and the AD weren’t thrilled by 6-6 prebowl game…
The guy the least “thrilled” by our performance 3/4 of the way through the season was…..Matt Rhule. He looked extremely frustrated.
Things started to improve from there - except for special teams, which were terrible all year, including the bowl game.
I would guess zero fans have ever expressed their disappointment in the football team's performance directly to Rhule since he's been hired here.
7-6 in 2024 achieved a near universal approval rating on this site.
any urgency he is feeling is not coming from fans.
