let the attrition start right way. That way you can focus on the young men that want to be here..
And let those boys play another game.

Day? Dumbest post since I've been reading this board.Winner, dumb post of the day.
Obviously you didn't read or understand my post. IMO They will get worse with more practices instead of better under this staff! Time away is what these players need!!
Tommy has not changed at all in his horrible decision making. He says that he will, again - but no one forces him to. It is acceptable to this staff. It does not matter what skills a QB has - poor decisions made with the ball make everything else pointless. Decision making is the #1 attribute of a QB, then accuracy probably, then the rest. It baffles me that they never pull him for poor performance. The coaches must bench him during the next game if he makes another horrible decision. I know the back ups might not be "better" - but nothing will move the needle in any direction by allowing it to continue.
Bowl practices are where you build depth
This is ridiculous. They haven't improved in 12 games? really? Seriously, be objective. There was massive improvement on the defensive side of the ball. The side everybody was ready to point to as the reason Riley should be fired. And yet, for some reason, no one is talking about the defense. Why is that? It doesn't fit the narrative. Defense showed up big down the stretch.Disagree, if they haven't improved in 12 games and like 100 something practices. 1 meaningless game and a handful of practices will not matter. That time is better spent getting recruits and moving on to next year. Bowl games were intended for good teams to be rewarded with a bit of a vacation at end of season that why originally you had to have 7 wins to get in. Then money took over and every company and their dog have a bowl game. So it is moved to 5 wins. This team doesn't deserve a bowl. Again participation trophy generation at its best.
Didnt our backup qb throw FIVE interceptions last time he played? Im sure they would of liked to bench players at certain times this year. Then, they turned around and looked at their bench.
I have no problem admitting the D is better, much much better. I never said it wasn't. My point was the team as a whole unit still has tons of issues. Penalties being a big concern, Tommy being another. IF those issues are still around the last game of the year, they will not be fixed over the course of a month and few practices. This is ridiculous. So you think comparing a 3rd year player to a former walk on with zero starts is intelligent? What coach in their right mind puts a QB making his first start and hasn't seen any significant playing time in a game and has him throw the ball 48 freaking times? Of coarse he is gonna throw some picks. 29-48 with 4 TD's and 4 or 5 picks in his first start ever. I think he can get better with more meaningful playing time. Hell even put him in for a series or 2 just to calm TA down a little bit.
I really don't understand the thinking of not playing a bowl game. This game could get a lot of younger guys a great deal more experience heading into next season. It would be absolutely ignorant to decline a bowl if the conference even lets you.
and better legs.
