The Nebraska-Rutgers game was played in gale force winds where neither QB could throw the ball and both defenses could load up against the run. Comparing absolute scores is absurd.

Nebraska outscored Rutgers by a factor of 2.00
K State outscored Rutgers by a factor of 1.07

Also should be noted that Nebraska faced Rutgers with their Heisman candidate RB while KState didn’t.
