Whipple just put his foot in his mouth on this one. And we will see it on display this weekend. To paraphrase, he said it is overrated and that only the score matters. As if the play in the trenches has no correlation to the final score of most football games. In my opinion that is just false and idiotic. I was not impressed with his hiring, and less impressed now. Some have suggested that Mickey would keep him if hired. I hope not.
