The idea of getting better as the season goes on. Those of us pointing out that BYU was a "quality opponent" aren't just saying that it isn't bad to lose to BYU, we are pointing out that this team very likely won't lose to a team like BYU in November.
There is going to be a trajectory of improvement with a new staff, and a new system. And people just seem to be ruling that out imo.
Not saying it is all sunshine and rainbows. I'm worried about the defense, specifically our pass rush needing to help out our secondary a bit more. I'd really like to see growth on the Oline. They need to be more physical, and its the one area I think at least one personnel change is in order. Lot's of football left to be played, so let's wait and see. We get a few D players back who I happen to think will help.
