Very strange. He made it sound like someone was holding Dowdell's family hostage and he didn't want leave but had to.

It is more about getting a chance then coming on strong. If he plays well, be honest. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? If he does amazing why the hell did you not give him a chance all year? If he does terrible it shows we are not strong at depth at running back. At the end of the day you can spin it any way you want. I want W's and if Ives gets us a W I will be happy

Does 1 game determine all of that? Maybe it does, idk...

I didn't take it as him whining. Just him stating what's going on in the portal world and how it can work.

the most interesting thing I heard raiola say is "I got to run better"...thats impressive to me..
it can mean the difference between winning a game , or not..
plus if he does it correctly like slide, run outta bounds, etc..injury is avoided

raiola passes a few times, hands off to emmit a few times, then bam..a 10 yard gainer for a 1st down
