It was bad but throwing it from 35 yards on 4th and 20 isn’t and shouldn’t get the call.Somebody needs to lose their job over that missed call. Dear God. Helen Keller could have seen that.

Yeah. I have been watching this garbage for a long, long time. So you are right. I really don't care at this point. I post to get rid of my boredom and to get my rocks off just a bit. 3 wins out of 11 isn't doing it for me right now. Sorry. I must not be a fan.I care a lot. How can you not care?
Are you a fan? Did you watch the game?
Neutral opinion here, as I'm from Minnesota.
I like the no-call. I don't like rewarding a bad play. The receiver was triple covered. If the pass would have been on-target, there was another defender standing RIGHT THERE to break it up. But the pass was under-thrown, causing the receiver to stop and the trailing defender to bump him.
Yeah, yeah, I know that technically it was pass-interference. But I've always liked some common-sense and discretion to be used. Same with 'targeting'....if there's nothing the defender can do to avoid it, if he has a full head of steam and the offensive player ducks down into him....I like the no-call.
So if a guard dribbles in the lane 1 on 3 and get fouled going to the bucket, the defense should knock him to the ground and the refs should ignore them knocking him to the ground because they shouldn’t reward a bad play?Neutral opinion here, as I'm from Minnesota.

This team hasn’t quit and neither should you. We need Husker nation more than ever to support the program. Win or lose these guys give it their all. We can too.The team is 3-8. Who really gives a rats ass about a missed call? That is freaking funny.
hahaha...I agree in that even if we get first and goal I don't believe we would have scored or won in the end anyways.I think the refs were cold and had seen enough of our games to know that we weren’t going to do anything with that call anyway.
Lol, you care. That's why you get drunk and post crazy stuff after every game.Yeah. I have been watching this garbage for a long, long time. So you are right. I really don't care at this point. We had 5 penalties for 43 yards. They had 4 for 42 yards…Remember on the kickoff return there were several blocks in the back and no flags, all ill say about the holding calls they were pretty slanted to Wisconsins advantage yeah we held but we’re flagged several times there o line didn’t get called and Several times we lost yards just by the officials placing the ball back and of course the icing on the cake was the no call pi another wonderful job of officiating by Barry’s good ole boy club
He's an Iowa fan posing on this board. Always has been.I care a lot. How can you not care?

The plan according to Frost was to score with as little time as possible left on the clock and then go for two to win the game in regulation without giving them a shot at a big KO return and a field goal to end the game. That is logical.Should have never came down to that anyway. R terrible clock management that last minute.
Remember the 0.6 seconds left against Texas in the big 12 championship ?Are you kidding? Special bonuses will be paid out to everybody involved. Big Ten Rule 14.d "Nebraska Special"
Should have never came down to that anyway. R terrible clock management that last minute.
If pi was called we would have been down to four seconds with first down. I think he should have called one TO earlier. How did clock management effect the final drive? We ran out of downs, not time.
Veteran NFL official trying to explain how a call this bad could possibly happen in such a critical situation.
Don’t agree. That ball was clearly catchable and the db took out the receiver without looking back on the ball at all. that was far from a Hail Mary.My only problem with that, is I think there’s only been one pass interference call in the NFL since 2009 on a Hail Mary and that’s exactly what that play was, a Hail Mary. It’s wrong and I don’t agree with it, but that’s just how it is.
Ummmm, the common-sense part is that the ref does not use their discretion but in fact just calls the game according to the rules in the rule book.Neutral opinion here, as I'm from Minnesota.

Can we stop with this? The refs are blamed after every damn loss. After 4 straight seasons of .350 play, I think there's a common denominator other than the refs that is causing us to lose. Can we just stop with this. Yes, we had other chances to win the game, but the fact remains that our WR was interfered with on that play. Had he not been, he may have caught it for a TD (or at least a 1st down). If it had been called, we'd have a fresh set of downs. NU fans have every right to be pissed. That terrible non-call could have very well cost us the game.
I did not see that...must have not been so obvious. He never gets the pass off without the obvious hold by Corcoran, should have been offsetting penalties
Pass interference is pass interference no matter what goofy description you attach to it.Neutral opinion here, as I'm from Minnesota.

Both can be true. We suck and shouldn't have been in that position. And the penalty should have been called. Can we stop with this? The refs are blamed after every damn loss. After 4 straight seasons of .350 play, I think there's a common denominator other than the refs that is causing us to lose.
Well, you got me there. LOLLol, you care. That's why you get drunk and post crazy stuff after every game.
The defender when playing appropriate defensive football should know where the ball is to avoid this contact. PI occurs when you have no perspective of where the ball is. Your defense of the no call is not understandable to me.Pass interference is pass interference no matter what goofy description you attach to it.
I'm not defending the no call, it was DPI..The defender when playing appropriate defensive football should know where the ball is to avoid this contact. PI occurs when you have no perspective of where the ball is. Your defense of the no call is not understandable to me.
The first step to recovery is admitting there's a problem..Well, you got me there. LOL
Doesn’t matter if the pass was shot out of Martinez anus and end over end. It went to the target and it was a bad and incredibly obvious PI in the most high leverage situation of the game. Bad take.Neutral opinion here, as I'm from Minnesota.

Yeah. Let's bag on the kid that ripped Wisconsin for 351 pass yards, 30 rush yards + a TD, and ran the option component of the offense flawlessly.Watch: Purdue loses to Minnesota on the worst pass interference call ever
There are times when teams lose and will blame officiating for the loss, and they don’t really have a point. After all, there are many things that go into any loss. But there are other times …touchdownwire.usatoday.com
Big Ten refs are just awful at their jobs. That's all it is, they are genuinely terrible for no good reason.
Fans are also ignoring the fact that Martinez would likely have just thrown a pick the next play anyway.
Yep should have not been in the position of 4 and 20…. with 2 timeouts in our pocket and not having anything creative to win at the end except for 4 passes ..Ask any coach on here and I am sure they will tell you that if you play enough games there are going to be missed calls. Contrary to popular belief, they really don't all go against us.
As for this game, yep they missed it, could have been called. Then I think back over the game about the KO return to start, poor tackling, the INTs, and the multiple holds by our outmatched tackles to name a few.
The truth I'd if we played even a little cleaner we aren't all complaining about a call at the end of thr game.
Just my opinion, which, so far in America, I am allowed to have.
Wisconsin had another defender standing right where a perfect pass would have been. If somehow the receiver still caught the ball, he certainly would have been stopped short the endzone. He beat them. If it was on target it’s a TD. But of course you like the no call.
90% of pass interference happen on underthrown balls where the db runs into the defender. If it’s a PI in the 1st qtr it’s a pi on the last play.Neutral opinion here, as I'm from Minnesota.
