Papuchis a defensive coordinator again

I don't hate him. Sometimes things don't work out with somebody be it a coworker, marriage, coach, etc. and most fair-minded people move on as long as everybody is reasonable. I understand continuing to bag on Bo is childish, and I am guilty. However, the fact the guy hates me (Nebraska fan), my school and its administration, and probably my home state makes moving on more difficult than it could have been if he would have moved on with his $$$ we gave him. You didn't see the same kind of thing here directed at Solich or Callahan.

Fair enough.

No...I don't ignore the facts because I hate a coach...hell...why go to college then...apparently the were NFL ready out of high school.

Funny, those same guys credit Pelini for their success. I'm sure you know more about their own lives than they do.

Ohio state and Iowa never punted......so our current coach sucks balls and he hasn't accomplished half of what Pelini has his entire collegiate career according to your standards.

But we are suppose to believe in the below average results he has put on the field and in recruiting...ok...seems legit.

He is nice even though he fired his friend in a cowardice way. We can't even beat freaking Iowa.

GUYS...LET IT GO, HE DOESN'T COACH HERE ANY LONGER!!!!!

For as nutty as Bo was and is, for only being a head coach for a few years, he has a decent coaching tree going. A number of his guys are now coordinators and who know what the future holds.

Riley has had a ton of years at the helm. What is his coaching tree like? I seriously have no idea.

So what's that say about Bo? Anyone with an a solid football IQ can tell that Bo has a great football mind for the most part. His greatest downfall has always been his pride. His pride in not lowering his knee to 17 year old kids in the recruiting game or hiring coaches who would, pride of not playing the media game, pride in not admitting his original game plan sometimes needed adjustments and so on. Pride is one of the 7 deadly sin for a reason. And ultimately caused Bo's death @ NU.

And yes, unfortunately, people will still be posting about Bo until MR out does Bo by accomplishing something Bo could not do @ NU. I believe that would be either a B1G title, a selection committee bowl game, or a playoff berth. Hopefully that would completely shut up all the "Bo" talk. It's old news.

And us old-timers have seen this before on this board. How long did people complain about the Frank firing. I still know some ex-husker fans that quit following the program after FS was fired. They still b*tch about it non-stop. It's been over 10 years and they still wont shut up about it. However, justifiably no one ever complains about Billy C being fired. Ha!!!

i dont have nice things to say about papuchises coaching ability so i wont say them.

Marvin sanders was a good defensive backs coach, i dont care what anyone says, but of course he too had character issues.
