Loved watching him play in the 90's against Colorado and Oklahoma. One of my favorite college backs. Thought he turned pro too early. Where would you guys rank him?

A very good player but still a fringe Top 10 RB.
Rozier, Phillips, Green, Abdullah, Dubose, Craig, D Brown, Redwine, Hipp, Burkhead, Berns,Kinney, Reynolds, Clark, Helu, K Jones. Find a hard time putting in the Top 10 ahead many of these names.
I liked Derek Brown at the time too but thought Jones overtook him.A very good player but still a fringe Top 10 RB.

My top five would be Phillips, Green, Helu, Rozier and Redwine.
He was also 23 at the end of the 1993 season, so he needed to get that NFL pay clock started before he got too run down.Jones had to leave.....LP was about to take all his snaps his senior year. He made the right call.
I'm not taking Roy over a Heisman winner. My top five would be Phillips, Green, Helu, Rozier and Redwine.
Topped? Uh, no. Evans was a talented RB who might have cracked the top 10, but he doesn't leapfrog the likes of Phillips, Rozier and Green under any circumstances.IF NOT FOR INJURY, and a questionable confrontation, the list would be topped by....
DeAngelo Evans
I was playing...a little.
Rozier and Phillips agree...Ahmann...Deangelo WAAAAY better, preinjury.
You want to talk about what if"s? Doug Dubose would be close to topping this list if his "misfortunes" didn't happen. Still makes my Top 5.
Jones was never the same after he got hurt. But no question LP was better.Jones had to leave.....LP was about to take all his snaps his senior year. He made the right call.
