Our nasty O-line

It would be one thing if the O-line looked in sync and crisp but were just getting beat. However they just look like they've never played football before

This group is the biggest bunch of pussies that have played in the Nebraska uniform. The band kids beat up on this hapless group.

Not sure which gives me the bigger eye roll. Internet tough guy calling these kids pussies when any of them could kick his ass nine ways to sunday, or internet tough guy calling a bunch of kids pussies. Bravo , tough guy. Bravo!!!!

I'm glad you're proud of them!

Tennessee had only 1dt play all night. We have lost 3 in our starting 4 man rotation. 2 injury. 1 drugs. After those 4 its a dropoff. Everyone else was de's.

They played their 4th string and 5th string DT. Tenn was the most injured team this year. 11 starters were out at different times. 7 def starters. OUCH - and still stomped us.
In all honesty though if you had had your starting qb, rb and best wr last night woulda looked a lot different. Barnette is a beast but when he gets in the pinmyearsback mode there is a huge hole to run through on his side nearly every play. I cant believe your coaches didnt expose this more.

To me this was THE most disappointing thing. That we could not run the ball against a very suspect Tennessee defensive line
BINGO!!! 111th in the nation against the run. 111th! Let that sink in. I know, I know...it's different with us because we get injured when we play football, blah blah, blah...

26 rushing yards at the half. Now that is nasty. People rip on the defense. It has been our offense that has been the problem all year long.
Let us come to the reality that this team is pretty much devoid of any nfl caliber players currently. Will this change in the coming years that remains to be seen, if Reilly and staff can recruit well enough to compete with the Ohio st and Michigan of our conference or stay on par with the Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern of our conference. If he continues to do the later, he will not be around much longer and then on to our next head coach. Maybe we can do like K-state did with Snyder and convince Dr Tom to come out of retirement and revive the program, I jest. I understand everyone frustration, but what is a true answer to this question? Do we give Reilly more time or start looking after next season? If we unload Reilly after next season, the next coach will bring a new offensive system possibly and we start at square one again. I think we are one new coach away from this program back to national recognition or killing the program for good.
