I'm not sure our victories over them are as big a deal to the players since none of them likely remember seeing it... but I do think Tennessee will come in with something to prove. I hope it's a good game and a husker victory! This isn't the least bit unexpected since they last played in the Music City bowl it was also a sell out..
And with our blue blood history and the fact that we beat them soundly the last 2 bowl games we played it's no surprise they are excited about this bowl game.
Bowl appearances all time.
Alabama- 62
Nebraska-53
texass- 53
Tennessee- 52
Georgia- 52

There's no shortage of Husker fans either, I imagine it'll be 60-40 in favor of the orange.
Will there really be 25,000 Nebraska fans there? Not being contradictory, but that's a big number when Nashville is 12 hours from Lincoln.
Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives! They're pretty damn good.I'm going with 2 others. I expect Nebraska to win every game I go to and win or lose, always stay to the end of the game, except once. However, if NU is getting boatraced by third Q, we might head over to the Opry to catch Marty Stuart.
There is this thing called an airplane, not sure if you've heard of it or not.
25k may be pushing it, I'm thinking 15-20k. Although not as strong as the west coast, Nebraska does have a pretty good alumni/fan base within a 3-7 hour drive to Nashville.
This is the first bowl game we have had in awhile that is actually within driving distance from Nebraska. That alone will get some people to go that probably wouldn't if it was in Florida or California. If it sells out, 20k would be about 29% husker fans.
I wasn't doubting Nebraska's fan base... I just don't see Nashville or the Music City Bowl being a strong enough destination to draw fans from greater distances.
