For those of you that are married or are in long-term relationships, do you ever just look at your romantic entanglement and realize what a tremendous catch that person it? I know for a fact that I greatly out-kicked my coverage when I married my bride.
Last night, as we celebrated her birthday, it just struck how beautiful, smart, funny, and sexy she is. All during dinner, I couldn't take my eyes off of her - and her beautiful green eyes. After a lovely dinner at one of her favorite spots, we sat on our deck and drank wine and laughed for hours. We have seen one daughter graduate college and have great early success in her career, a son that graduates college Saturday, and our wildly funny 13 year old come into her own. I just amazed at how blessed I am to be married to her. We have been through the wildest of good times and some of the toughest moments you can face.
I've joked about it for years, but her only real fault is her noticeable lack of taste in men. It's another great day to be sure with Mrs. Ronniehuskerron.
