I tend to have a heavy foot when I am traveling on Interstates when it is safe to do so, e.g., non-congested roads.

I have somehow been given a pass on a ticket every time…and without fail, not even a written warning when I have a rental car. States include, Florida, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, to name a few…

My question is why do they always dismiss a traffic violation once they discover I am in a rental?

In Florida, the guy was giving me the riot act and acted dejected once he discovered I was in a rental.
