Dean is making his annual speaking tour stop in McCook this evening (to much hype and fanfare).
Today's itinerary includes:
12:00--Dean's private jet will touch down at Ben Nelson Regional Airfield on the northeast side of town, where a private car will whisk him away.
12:30--casual lunch at Mac's Drive-in, where Dean usually gets the prime rib sandwich. Gladhand with locals.
1:30--parade and processional down Norris
2:30--meet with local leaders (mayor, city council, soybean board) to discuss peace deals between Omaha and W.N. No progress will likely be made.
4:00--tour of McCook HS, interview a few boys for instate HOL piece.
5:00--rest of Dean's team arrives on the ground. Franchisecorch (opening act), kaz/kong/Jung (event security), Gregg Peterson (hype man/designated driver) head to the venue for sound check and setup.
6:00--state patrol escort arrives
6:30--scheduled event time, although Dean never comes on before 9 to drive up anticipation
