How hard is it to watch this offense? Man I thought last years was hard. This reminds me of watching Nebraska offense last year but this is with professionals playing. Man they make everything soooo damn hard...geez

Right now they don’t, but at least 40% of the fans here in Chicago wanted to keep him and trade that pick. Luckily, fans are dumb and cooler heads prevailed in the front office.Zero Bears fans miss Justin Fields
Have fun, yinzers!

Steelers need to mail it in, start thinking about the draft and their next QB. Historically, offensively speaking more than maybe some people realize, but they actually draft OK offensive guys, they just whiffed on Pickett and haven't recovered. ,
It's recockulous and miserable being a Steelers fan, and I'm very miserable.
Agreed. It all feels very stale over the past few years. he needs to figure out how to inject some fresh air into the team. That’s what I like about the Chiefs. Reid is the coach and 100% in charge of the offense with the help of his assistants. I feel like he let his defensive coordinator completely own that side of the ball.Crazy as it sounds Fields doesn't bother me much. I didn't have any wild thoughts about him. I think he's actually been OK. Not nearly as bad as he was with the Bears. I'm starting to lean towards Tomlin. It really hasn't mattered who our OC and who our QB was outside of about 3-4 games last year we have been trash offensively.
Tomlin has his finger print on everything there and I'm starting to think he's part of the problem. For example, how good is Tomlin at identifying skilled offensive players? Doesn’t look great.

Watching them play is painful. Offensive identify is on the side of a milk carton.Aren’t the Steelers 4-2 and tied for division lead?
Having an awful year

Well, let's think about it. Last year, the offense was horrible. They were still invested in a 1st round pick who was not panning out. They were not going to trade the farm to draft another QB. They brought in two QB castoffs from two of the worst offenses in the league, but those QBs are both still perceived as upgrades over Pickett. I think we are about where we thought we would be realistically as far as offensive production. I heard an offensive stat this week- points scored, yards per play, I can't remember which is was but it was a major stat- that had this offense going from 29th in the league to around 15th. Bottom line, is we are better.Crazy as it sounds Fields doesn't bother me much. I didn't have any wild thoughts about him. I think he's actually been OK. Not nearly as bad as he was with the Bears. I like Justin Fields. But he's missing open receivers. He can't see them. Pickens isn't doing anything. Supposedly, Arthur Smith can scheme him open. The coaches saw how the offense operated with both guys in the off-season. I think they are going with Wilson to give that a try. He out performed Fields in practice when he was healthy. I think it's a ballsy move. Most coaches don't have the job security to make such a move. It's especially gutsy when you consider that the offense may only be slightly better and that the Steelers will be facing better competition.
Much has been made about the lack of a #2 WR but I think that is blown out of proportion. I'm glad they didn't trade draft capital to get Adams or Aiyuk. This offense has more problems than that. Mainly at QB and injuries in the offensive line.
