We are going to go fishing next week out of Myrtle Beach area. We have gone a few times before typically focus on reds, grouper, kobia, etc.
This time the captain wants to focus on mackerel. Obviously I defer to his knowledge, but I have heard so many bad things about thr taste of mackerel. Are folks being dramatic or is this because it wasn't fresh?
