Hoping someone on here can help me out. I'm trying to buy my grandparents house in southwest Iowa for 60k and 40 of it will be used to put an addition on for them to live in. The problem I'm running into is that it has 19.5 Acres with it making it agricultural. The banks I've contacted don't do agricultural loans. Also my credit score is only 650 ( alcoholism isn't kind to the credit score) so does anyone know of a bank that does ag loans for non farm ground? It's all pretty much non farmable pasture. Anyou advice would be greatly appreciated.
