Anybody know much about this topic? Always puzzled me how players can earn 'full exemption' but will still have to qualify for certain tournaments. For instance, a player who finished in the top 25 (?) on the WEB.com tour earns his tour card which I always assumed meant full exemption for the entire following season, but it seems like some of those guys still have to qualify. I would assume the majors have their own qualification standards, obviously.
