Coaches or those in the know...in general, which foot should an offensive lineman use on their first step in coming off the snap? I believe it should be a short, 6-8" step with the playside foot. For example, the RG with a DT (whether shaded or head on) and the ball going to the 4 hole would step first with his right foot, as the 4 hole would be to his right (between RG & RT). If the ball were going to the 2 hole (between C & RG), he would step first with his left foot, as the hole would be to his left.

Context - 12 year old youth football basic offensive line technique. Thanks!
