A benefit of my job is conversing with folks from different walks of life; one such person is in charge of meals for a local D1 university here. This may bore some folks, but to others they might find it interesting.

This team plays Saturday night at 7 pm, with that said:

Friday night the team spends the night at this hotel and are fed a meal of either fish, prime rib, or baked chicken (with sides) around 6-7 pm. Then they have a late night snack around 9 pm of hamburgers. The hamburgers are generally 2-3 patties high (6 oz burgers), but the amount is dictated by the team's nutritionist.

Friday night meals alternate between fish and prime rib and grilled steaks/shrimp.

Saturday they will eat meals at the hotel at 7, 9, 11, and 3 pm with meetings in between those times. They have two "formal" meals out of those four times with breakfast being eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes/waffles, etc being for breakfast. The lunch menu would be like baked chicken, spaghetti, and sides. The snacks would include a deli station with ham, turkey, roast beef, or peanut butter/jelly sandwiches.

If the coaches feel a player isn't consuming enough from the meals, they make they drink an Ensure.

Just thought I would share.
