Just got back from a whirlwind trip from Ohio to the good life. 885 miles to celebrate the life of my uncle Les. He was the last of my Father's generation, a WWII veteran and an all around great man. Lived to be 101 and 6 months. I was around Uncle Les almost everyday as a child and never once saw him raise his voice. He was a quiet man of few words with a strong loving nature with an easy smile.

He was stationed in the Philippines and was on a ship preparing for the invasion of Japan when they dropped the bomb. He went on to be part of the occupying force in Japan after the war. A father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
